Enroll in a CYT class today and you will create memories for a lifetime!

CYT offers classes in drama, music, dance, technical theater and so much more. Learn from experienced teachers, performers and technicians while having FUN.

Every session (fall, winter and spring) CYT offers 10-week theater arts classes to children & youth ages 4 – 18. These two hour after-school classes are held once a week in nine areas throughout San Diego County and Temecula Valley. On the final week of classes, students will display a portion of what they’ve learned by participating in a SHOWCASE for family and friends.

Classes may include but are not limited to:
• Intro to theater for ages 4 - 7
• Dance
• Drama
• Music
• Musical Theater
• Auditions and Callbacks
• Comedy and Improv
• Behind-the-Scenes
• Stunts and Combat
• Film and TV
• Makeup

Enrolled students, ages 8 – 18, have the opportunity to audition for a CYT Broadway-style musical! Younger students may serve as ushers at CYT shows, and students ages 10 and up may work on a backstage crew.

NOTE: You must be enrolled in a CYT class in order to be eligible to audition for a show.

Terms, Conditions & Instructions

**Our systems have changed, it is very important for all users to read the updated registration procedure**

The following instructions apply to the page you will be sent to after clicking the ‘Upcoming Classes’ button:

1. Click the ‘Log in’ button to access your account. If this is your first time using our online sales system, you will need to click the ‘Register Me’ button to create a new account.

2. From this page you can either use the calendar to browse to the appropriate first class/camp date to make your selection, or feel free to click the ‘Purchase Single Tickets’ button for a listing of all available classes and camps.

3. You may select as many classes/camps per order as you would like, but be sure to select the proper price type if you are enrolling 2 or more students, or if the student is taking more than one class and/or attending more than one camp. (Price details shown below).

4. After payment has been made you will automatically receive a receipt via email. It is very important that you respond to this receipt with the full name, and date of birth of the student(s) you are enrolling.

Now that you are registered . . .

STEP 1:

Print out a medical release/behavior contract. You MUST bring this form, FILLED OUT and SIGNED, to your first class session.

Go to your area class page and get all the latest information.

Get all the information on the current season of CYT shows. Registered students ages 8-18 may audition for any one of the shows.

Policy & Guidelines

Guidelines:

• Respect for teachers, staff, parents, and other students is expected at all times.

• Honoring language will be used. Name-calling, profanity and/or inappropriate actions will not be tolerated.

• Students’ conduct will be respectful of property, and therefore, any damage done to property will be replaced or repaired by the student.

• CYT expects purity of self in relationships with others and one’s own body; therefore, drugs, alcohol or smoking are strictly prohibited. Overt physical contact between students in inappropriate at CYT activities.

• Students who are cast in a production are required to attend their CYT classes for the entire 10-week session, including Showcase on the last day of class.

CYT wants all students to do their best and believe the Lord will do a good work in their lives.

Dress Code:

• CYT expects students to dress modestly and appropriately, in a way that promotes a healthy environment and eliminates distractions.

• Overly tight or revealing clothing is not acceptable.

• Midriffs must be covered, even when arms are raised or when seated.

• Undergarments are not to be visible or exposed.

Refund Information:

• There will be a $25 processing fee on all refunds.

• Each class that your child has attended will be prorated and deducted from your refund.

• Students who audition are NOT eligible for a refund.

• There will be no refunds after the THIRD week of class.
