Description

This is the class that combines the three elements of musical theater: voice, dance and acting. Skills to be covered include: basic vocal/physical warm-up techniques, creating stage pictures with dance and song, group activities and exercises that incorporate the body and voice, basic dance steps, telling a story through facial expressions while beginning to show signs of confidence, focus, energy, and stage presence.

*Classes are extended due to NO CLASS on Martin Luther King Day (Jan. 20th) or on President's Day (February 17th)

Kara Lee

Kara Lee is a wife, mama, creative, and connector. She graduated with a degree in vocal music from Baylor University and has worked in production most of her life. She is a writer, producer, singer, director, actress, worship leader, founder of The Well Community for Women and owner of Next Door Photos. Kara loves performing as often as she can, but loves directing just as much!

Location Notes:

Classes are located throughout the building in partnership with The Rock Academy. Families will check in at the Lobby and students will be escorted by Teaching Artists and Staff to their classroom(s).
